Windows 10 will not update to 1607

Recently updated all PCs to home windows 10, in the process of updating them through the anniversary update. The computers that have actually 1607 currently refuse to acexpertise that they"re downloading and install updates and also for this reason wont install them.

Network-related task and also the SoftwareDistribution folder display that the updays have downloaded. I"ve ran the windows update resolve tool and deleted the contents of SoftwareDistribution and also still nothing, update still mirrors "Downloading updays 0%".

You watching: Windows 10 will not update to 1607

.esd is included in WSUS and also all the article installations have actually been done on it. I"ve turned off getting updates from Computers on the network so it gets it directly from the WSUS server, however still nothing.

Anyone has any type of other ideas i have the right to try?

There is a well-known worry via the initial release of 1607 that reasons issues via WSUS.

If you press out the update manually utilizing the updates from the Windows Update Catalog, and also the computer restarts, it starts talking with WSUS Again.

I know it sucks to need to manually install and also update to obtain the updays working. IF you have PDQ Deploy setup you can push out that deal with via PDQ or script it through psexec.

It falls short to install them. I think it might be my content folder area. When I installed it, I pointed it to a network-related share. I"m in the procedure of transforming it to a neighborhood drive.

Fall Creators broke a bunch of stuff too. If one point is for certain, it"s that M$ is going to save IT folks employed for a long time to come with releases favor this.
