There is no hard limit on the dimension of a session variable. Because it is stored on the server in memory, tright here would be a limitation there, but it would vary depending on your hardware.

I belive there is no such point for individual session variable size. It all counts on complete variety of sessionsandwebserver"s memory.

toakhtarif object dimension is under 80 KB, then functioning fine and if the size is better than 80 KB then on retereival I am obtaining exemption.

Session is not recommfinished for storing big objects.Recommfinished usage:

Use as soon as you are storing short-lived information that is certain to an individual session and also security is an concern. Do not save huge quantities of indevelopment in session state. Be conscious that a session-state object will certainly be created and also maintained for the lifetime of eextremely session in your application. In applications hosting many kind of users, this deserve to occupy significant server resources and impact scalcapacity.

Consider utilizing other state management techniques..

Hi! Please note that in SessionState repertoire, items are stored as objectsand they will certainly consume as a lot space as an object form is permitted and also the theoretical limit for the maximum dimension of an item is2GB. Please check this. But virtually it will certainly depend on the obtainable memory sources thatyour server has got and are available to you. Also keeping heavy objects in memory is not recommend because its a valuable server resource so I would certainly recommend to keep these objects in database and also make easily accessible to your client upon research. ( A trick can be to only save theid of the record in Session)

Thanks.

There is no limitation like that.

As it appears you are managing file upload, try changin the MaxRequestLength in internet.config file.

Is that fileupload1 is a control? Then its not advisable to save a regulate inside session !!!
