I save acquiring the adhering to Event Log error message on a day-to-day basis:

"The device, DeviceIdeiaStor0, did not respond within the timeout duration."

There are some hits on Google, but none gave a solution. Any suggestions?

Following is my mechanism info:

I have actually been trying the settle the exact same error for the previous few weeks and simply this day found a fix.

You watching: The device, deviceideiastor0, did not respond within the timeout period.

Disable the Service - Intel(R) Matrix Storage Event Monitor iaantmon.exe

Also disable the Rassist Event Monitor iaanotif.exe in Msconfig

I believe disabling the iaantmon.exe Service actually fixes the difficulty, yet I disabled

both of these at the exact same time, so I am not positive.

My Event Viewer error would certainly take place just one time after each reboot. The device would certainly have

to be idle for awhile, generally 15-45 minutes, for the error to occur.

Once the error developed it would never before happen again till the following reboot.

I never proficient any device troubles, just that annoying Event Viewer error.

I uncovered the solution this morning, and also have actually tested it on 3 reboots and the error has actually not

come earlier.

Unfortunately disabling the service and also application isn"t really a solve.

There shows up to be some bug in the Intel Matrix Storage Manager that is resulting in that occasion viewer error.

I discovered a pest through the latest Intel Matrix Storage Manager driver.

Installing the driver deleted the Intel Turbo Memory from the Start > Programs menu.

Today I couldn"t discover the Intel Turbo Memory in the Programs menu.

I reinstalled the Intel Turbo Memory by launching the setup.exe file located in the C:DRIVERSVISTATurbomem folder.

This is the exact same version that came preinstalled on my computer and also was resulting in the iaStor Event Viewer error.

Running the setup.exe file brought back the Intel Turbo Memory to the Programs menu.

After rebooting, I let my system sit idle, and sure sufficient, the iaStor error reshowed up in the Event Viewer.

I then reinstalled the latest Intel Matrix Storage Manager driver, and as soon as aacquire, it deleted the Intel Turbo Memory from the Start>Programs food selection.

After additionally installs/reinstalls I think Intel Turbo Memory is still running in the background with the latest driver, even though Intel Turbo Memory does not appear in the Program menu.

I found the Intel Turbo Memory Console Shellex.exe is still situated in the C:Program FilesIntelIntel Matrix Storage ManagerExtn folder after the latest driver install. I placed a shortcut on my desktop computer to C:Program FilesIntelIntel Matrix Storage ManagerExtnShellEx.exe and also I am now able to launch the Intel Turbo Memory Consingle.

I sent an email to Intel notifying of this bug.
