Taskbar icon stays highlighted windows 10

Whenever i drag my mouse over the taskbar, and then move my computer mouse off the job bar, the last highlighted item remains highlighted, and the shortcut name pops up as if my computer mouse is hovering over it still. it just taken place after the the majority of recent windows update. is this a recognized bug?

The actions you are describing suggests the taskbar believe's you are asking it to open up a jump list. This is normally done by clicking dvery own on a regimen, moutilizing up off the taskbar, then then releasing the click.

You watching: Taskbar icon stays highlighted windows 10

If you aren't clicking dvery own on your mouse at all, then:

tbelow is a trouble via the driver your computer mouse is using

there is a physical difficulty through your mouse

third party software running in the background is leading to your mouse to behave abnormally

I'm not conscious of any Windows settings which adjust the behavior of the taskbar so that jumplists come up in any type of other way.

Sorry, but you are wrong on this one. The taskbar ssuggest believes that an item is still being hovered over while it's not, it's acquired nothing to execute with the jump lists. I've been having this bug happen eextremely now and then considering that as early as Windows 7. An traveler rebegin always fixes this however it's pretty annoying.
