Here"s what I have actually tried so much yet it keeps freezing up at the Omales logo design or at spinning dots:

- Power supply tested poor so I switched it out through a new one.

- SSD and HDD tested - Good

- RAM tested OK

- Recollection CMOS, even tried brand-new CMOS battery.

- Removed CPU to make sure there"s sufficient thermal paste

- Tried a couple various video cards

- Boot via Windows 10 installation media

- Boot via UBCD (Ultimate Boot CD) however it freezes or reboots after a minute or two.

- Even via no boot drive mounted, the spinning circle dots comes up for a few seconds and also then it freezes up. Fans keeps spinning, lights are on, nobody"s house...

The computer system was purchased simply over a year ago so customer has no warranty left.

Anyone has actually any kind of concepts..? I"m stomped.

I would visit HP website and also examine the S/N for as purchased specs simply to be certain.

Also, there are no boot errors displayed? Might be an choice in BIOS to allow verbose boot.

Not totally certain however I very doubt they ever before acquired in to BIOS or changed anypoint at all.

If I rotate it on and also go in to BIOS, it seems to have the ability to run "forever" without freezing

but as soon as I attempt to leave BIOS and also boot via anypoint whatsoever it freezes up after a few seconds.

Well you don"t should remove the CPU to examine the thermal paste. Remove the cooler, yes, yet not the CPU.

As for "sufficient thermal paste", I discover via devices that people have developed or messed through, there"s even more most likely to be as well a lot paste than not sufficient. Or there"s 2 kinds of paste bereason the original wasn"t rerelocated.

Since the 9700 is current, it"s still simple to acquire replacement boards so the CPU and board deserve to be tested quite quickly.

I would certainly actually remove the CPU and also inspect the socket pins.

MCEStaff - Yes of course that"s what I did. I did not rerelocate the CPU, just the cooler, haha.

I"ll examine the pins also though I have actually a difficult time believing there is anything wrong via them

considering that the computer has been running fine for a year and the CPU has actually never been removed...

The warranty have the right to be extfinished. Contact HP.
Have you tried booting from a USB thumbdrive via one more OS? Like a live linux distro?
Do you have this computer system plugged into a surge powerspilgrimage or with a UPS?
