my laptop sevecount underpercreates for the spec and I constantly believed it was bereason of the sluggish HDD but guess I discovered a various bottleneck. I simply have actually 8 GB, single channel memory total so I think that could e pulling me down. is there any kind of way to acquire the 2 Gigs back?

many thanks in advance

I don"t think any type of systems run 2GB at idle unmuch less its ultra clean with no bloatware and also just fresh off of a reset and also rebegin.

Are you sure?

Did you leave it for a few hrs so that it finishes installing stuff, then check for windows updates, then rebegin and also let it finish installing that, and also then rebegin again?

Immediately after installing home windows tbelow is a lot of stuff going on in the background.

Clean install is a good concept but you have to disable all startup programs favor heavy steam, epic games, etc. And you shouldn"t let them minimize to taskbar once they aren"t being provided. I simply reset my COMPUTER 2 days earlier and I have actually simply one tab (LTT) open. Nothing running in the background. This is a laptop, don"t know if it affects results.

operated for me, currently my system is at 2.7GB

Well what you basically did is relocated half the stuff that"s in ram to your storage drive which is favor 100x sreduced.

I lowered mine to 2.4 GB in Idle now.

I have 15.8 GB yet in Idle my mechanism was making use of 5.1 GB 32% of my complete mechanism memory what is a little bit too a lot for idle.

I checked my C drive Virtual memory setting and it is collection to Auto, so I left it as it is.

1. Background Apps

Click on the Windows key in the bottom left corner and also start typing Startup Apps

Switch off all of them (I just left the Windows Security Notification on)

2. Background Apps

Click on the Windows vital in the bottom left corner and also start typing Background Apps

Switch off every one of them: 3D Viewer, Camera, Microphone, Calculator, Cortana, Films, Mail, Setups, Tips, Weather, Xbox apps, Your Phone, etc. (I only left Windows Security on, Camera Microphone will still job-related if you use them)

3. Restart your Computer

After the restart my memory consumption went down from 5.1 GB to 2.4 GB.

I hope it will assist.
