An error occurred while ejecting cd drive

Hello all, am running Victory 8.1 Pro x64. Today I noticed that the "Eject" option from the right-click food selection doesn"t occupational for either of my 2 CD-Rom drives, nor for a "virtual" drive - I gain the same error message on all 3: "An error occured while ejecting ". Device Manager reflects no errors, and I"ve tried uninstalling the drives and also rebooting, but error persists. Can anyone help? Also, to be clear, it is NOT a physical difficulty via the drives, as I deserve to open up them without a problem with the butlots on the front. Finally, if for some reason I can"t resolve this concern, does anyone know of a method to at least just DELETE the "Eject" from the conmessage menu?

Just to attempt and also determine if your context menu is corrupted, you could attempt and produce a shotreduced to open/close your CD tray. With that shelp, tbelow are several freeware programs obtainable to develop these shortcuts so I would certainly just google for:exactly how to develop a shortreduced to eject cd
Then pick one and attempt it out. I hve done this before; yet, I can not remember which one I provided yet I think it was NirSoft.Good luck.

Are these USB Optical drives? It might be confusing "Eject Device" via "Eject Disk" in the conmessage food selection. You deserve to downpack a small routine called "EjectCD" - See if that helpshttp://ejectcddvd.sourcecreate.net/
