Amazon video voice out of sync

I'm noticing quite considerable video delay in amazon prime, especially as soon as listening through headphones associated to the game controller, but it's also fairly obvious as soon as liwtening through the TVs a speakers. I'm surprised there aren't any kind of recent articles about this.

You watching: Amazon video voice out of sync

I doubt it has actually anything to execute with the controller itself, because youtube appears to be in sync.

I've proficient random lip sync concerns with other apps, like iptv, kodi and also plex, yet I'm not sure if it's connected, and it may have actually been regarded the content itself and/or the TVs video handling. I'm not sure yet. But this is incredibly clearly a different problem with either prime video app or the Shield itself.

Maybe the even bigger (possible) inrease in delay through controller could be pertained to the fact that I necessary to disable surround sound (collection to 'Never'), because otherwise it wouldn't work-related at all. Maybe not..

Netflix appears to be fine.

I just freshly noticed audio sync worries myself..however in all apps. Shield is hooked up to an AVR.

Changing that setting "Audio video sync" under State-of-the-art Settings addressed it for me. But if that doesn't happen in all apps for you, it's most likely a poor concept fideling around through this settings given that this can get all other apps out of sync.

It doesn't impact the sync at all, unless you have a receiver or usage a USB DAC, which I don't.

Edit: and also as you sassist, it's not in all apps so that form of solution wouldn't aid me anyway..

Can you confirm that you have actually no troubles with Prime?

Sync problems in the Amazon Prime app are pretty a lot a continuous. I've noticed it on my Shield and also even a Fire Stick wbelow Netflix on those exact same gadgets functions fine. It's simply a point that's always been poor with Amazon.

I don't normally usage the game controller unmuch less I'm playing a game, however I've been watching a lot of Amazon Prime video on my Shield this previous month and also haven't had actually a problem like this also when. I didn't have Prime before a month earlier so I can't talk about any historic problems.

Some of my settings are that I am linked with ethernet, not wifi, have actually surround sound set to auto, Upmix stereo, have actually the volume regulated by the TV (CEC) and Fixed volume selected. I have actually the 2017 Shield TV.

I haven't had any factor to use it, yet tright here is that setting "Audio video sync" under Modern Setups in Sound. Have you tried it? It says it's for if you are making use of a DAC or Receiver but there's no injury in you trying it regardmuch less. You deserve to constantly set it earlier to the original delay.

Thanks, yea, I've tried that setting, but it has actually no effect on apps. I have pretty a lot the exact same setup as yourself. Could you try utilizing heaphones or earphoness via your controller simply to watch if it likewise functions fine?

Edit: No need to. I've just checked again and also it appears that delay is the same both through controller and also TVs speakers.

I've tried everything about the Prime Video audio sync problems and nothing seems to repetitively solve it. Sometimes it's ok, and other times it's unbearable. The actual delay additionally varies during playback so it's pointmuch less trying to collection a delay on the Shield or AVR. To me it seems to be part concerned the application themselves, and also component regarded the Shield and also AVR communication. If I attach the Shield directly to my TV every one of the delay is gone, however then I can't use my AVR appropriately. I've also investigated some netoccupational associated concerns by using VPNs and at first I believed it solved it, however after a few minutes the delay came back. Amazon or Nvidia just don't care about solving this bereason it affects just a little number of human being. I usage a Denon receiver and a Vizio TV btw.

Interestingly, my Shield is associated directly to my TV, and the problem is still tright here.

Edit: I suppose the sound is coming out of the TV speakers.

My difficulty was that I had 'Surround Sound' collection to 'Never'. I collection it back to 'Auto' and it's in sync aget. I initially readjusted this establishing to 'Never' because otherwise the shield controller wouldn't pass audio via the headphone jack.
